Aisling is proudly Irish, and has forged a path in life that has been varied, exciting, and inspirational to say the least.
She has had a mixed career path, including showjumper, travel company owner, and partner at a credit fund! Her love of life and boundless energy allows her to spin many plates at once, always striving to achieve more and find new ways to work with those around her.
Finally, and potentially the most important piece of information, is that she has a beautiful Westie named Casper who is her shadow, following her everywhere! From board meetings to horse shows, you will always see Casper in tow brightening everyone’s day.
Having grown up in Ireland with a passion for horses, Aisling is a dedicated equestrian, competing a talented string of horses internationally in showjumping.
Following a severe accident a few years ago, Aisling was left hospitalised and told that she would be unlikely to walk again. Through a strong mindset, determination and sheer force of will, she overcame the odds and recovered to be able to compete her gorgeous lineup of horses once again!
This experience made her want to use what she’d learned, and how she’d overcome such a challenge, to benefit and inspire others in similar situations.
Outside of the horses, Aisling is a seasoned professional in the legal and finance sector, Aisling works at Nera Capital delivering pragmatic funding solutions to law firms across Europe and USA through deep and strategic industry knowledge.
Separately, with over a decade of experience in the luxury travel industry, Aisling also runs a Journey Through Ireland – a travel operator with the aim to open up Ireland, Scotland and the rest of the UK to those looking for a high-end, bespoke experience.
Outside of work and horses (because who needs free time, right?…) Aisling is a professional model and presenter, with multiple catwalk and commercial shoot appearances, as well as television work and speaking on podcasts.
